Valve manufacturing process
1 Design
According to the use requirements and working environment, design the structure, material and size of the valve. The design should consider the function of the valve, sealing performance and pressure resistance.
2. Material selection
Based on the design requirements, select the appropriate materials, such as cast iron, cast steel, stainless steel, copper alloys, etc.
Material processing. According to the design drawings, the selected materials are cut, forged, cast and other processing to manufacture the various parts of the valve.
Step 3 Assemble
Assemble the finished parts, including the installation of the valve body, valve cover, valve stem, seat, sealing ring, etc. During the assembly process, attention should be paid to the matching accuracy and installation sequence of parts.
Detects. The appearance inspection, size inspection and sealing performance test of the assembled valve are carried out to ensure that the quality meets the design requirements.
4. Surface treatment
According to the need, the valve surface treatment, such as spraying anti-corrosion paint, galvanized, etc., to improve the corrosion resistance.
5. Packaging and delivery
The manufactured valves are packaged and sold or transported to the place of use.
The manufacturing process of different types of valves (such as ball valves, butterfly valves, gate valves, etc.) may vary, and the specific manufacturing process needs to be adjusted and optimized according to different types of valves.
